SPATIAL FEATURES OF PALEOZOIC SALTS SHOWS – RELIABLE ZONAL SEALS OF THE KUREIKA SYNECLISE

V. S. Staroseltsev

Prerequisites of salt shows in Paleozoic deposits of northern and central regions of the Kureika syneclise are analyzed. Zones of possible shows of the localized Devonian salt accumulation and salt-dome tectonics of Cambrian horizons are marked with regard to the regional faults position. Designated spatial regularities of salt seals distribution significantly predetermine formation prospects of oil and gas accumulations that should be taken into account when planning the priority of exploration work.

Key words: regional long-lived faults, localized salt accumulation, salt dome, reliable seals.
