UDC (550.831.013:551.1):553.98 GRAVIMETRIC MODELLING OF GEOLOGICAL STRUCTURES AND STUDY OF THEIR FORMATION MECHANISMS IN PROSPECTING FOR HYDROCARBON POOLS
The paper describes principles of gravimetric modelling of geological structures as an important step in prospecting for oil and gas and other mineral resources. A new technique is proposed to determine reservoirlayer depths on the basis of gravity prospecting and geodynamic mechanisms of geological body formation.
