NEW DATA ON GEOCHEMISTRY OF NAPHTHIDES AND ORGANIC MATTER OF THE NEOPROTEROZOIC DEPOSITS IN THE CONJUNCTION ZONE WITHIN PREDPATOM TROUGH AND NEPA-BOTUOBA ANTECLISE (THE SIBERIAN PLATFORM)
P. N. Sobolev, I. A. Kozhevykh
A comparative study of acyclic HC biomarkers in naphthides identified in the core of the Chaikinskaya 279 well and in bitumens of possible oil source beds of the Riphean-Vendian age is conducted. According to the alkanes distribution the most probable oil source deposits in the region are the rocks stratigraphically related to the upper Nepa horizon of Vendian (Tirbess Formation, argillaceous rocks of the Serаlakh Formation). The main indicator of genetic relation of these beds dispersed OM and naphthides is the presence of appreciable quantities of homologous series (12th and 13th – monomethylalkanes) of compounds. With that, judging by significant variations of naphthides composition, there is no doubt that the region has passed long and complex processes of their ontogenesis, influenced by migration flows of gas-condensate fluids, generated by the black-shale Riphean strata (Barakun Formation, et al.).
Key words: naphthides geochemistry, HC biomarkers, Nepa-Botuoba PR, Neoproterozoic, oil source beds.
