CORRELATION OF THE BERRIASIAN – LOWER APTIAN SEDIMENTS PRODUCTIVE STRATA IN THE URENGOY-PURPE REGION, WESTERN SIBERIA

The correlation of productive strata groups AU-BU and AP-BP within the stratotype sections in the Urengoy and Purpe subregions are conducted on the basis of well logs in combination with seismic survey and palaeontological data. The results provide a basis for updating the Berriasian-Lower Aptian stratigraphic chart of the Urengoy-Purpe region in Western Siberia.
