ABOUT THE PETROLEUM POTENTIAL PROBLEM IN PRE-JURASSIC COMPLEXES OF THE CENTRAL WESTERN SIBERIA AND SOUTHERN TRANS-URAL

N. P. Kirda

The present article briefl y examines problems of petroleum potential in the Triassic-Paleozoic complexes of the Western Siberia and Southern Trans-Urals, roles of a fault formation, natural choking, temperature regime, underground pressure, degassing of subsurface. Data on petroleum potential of ancient magmatic, intrusive and metamorphic complexes with different age and at considerable depths within some continents of the world are given. Prerequisites for substantiation of discovery of large and high-output HC deposits are expressed.

Key words: Western Siberia, Southern Trans-Urals, Triassic, Paleozoic, petroleum potential, hydrogen and carbon and organic substance content, fault formation, degassing of subsurface, petroleum potential at considerable depths.
