INNOVATION PETROLEUM POTENTIAL FORECAST IN THE SOUTHERN PRIVERKHOYANYE AND SETTE-DABAN REGIONS

Regions promising for Neogene-Quarternary oil in the Riphean-Lower Cambrian carbonate deposits in the southern Priverkhoyanye and in thrust zones of the Sette-Daban region have been forecasted based on analysis of geophysical, tectonic, and lithologic settings of the Yakut crustal block in Mesozoic and Cenozoic, investigations of bitumen and oil shows in the Riphean-Early Cambrian deposits of the Aim dome, and study of local waters composition.
