Formation of the Ural quartz-vein gold ore deposits is genetically connected with granitoid massifs of tonalite-granodiorite formation. The large Berezovskoye deposit, located in over-intrusive zone of the Shartash granite massives, is no exception. Over the last decades some conclusive evidences have been obtained that confirm the tie of this deposit with the massif formation.

Key words: Shartash massif, Berezovsoye deposit, quartz veins, dike complex, auriferous quartz, sheelite-bearing quartz, metasomatites.
