EXPLORATION TOOLS OF THE REGIONAL HYDROTHERMAL-ORE SYSTEMS: METHODS OF HOMOLOGY AND SYSTEM ANALYSIS. PART II. SYSTEM ANALYSIS
A. B. Shepel, M. E. Gavrilenko, V. P. Lepilin
The paper considers theoretical foundations of the homology and system analysis methods and the results of their application in study of a large mineragenic target, the Leglier-Timpton ore belt (Aldan Shield), stretching over 280 km and controlling the placement of numerous iron ore and phlogopite deposits of an ancient magnesian-skarn formation. It is justified that the ore belt’s structure is a system, the “primary elements” of which are magnetite, phlogopite-magnetite, and phlogopite ore-bearing zones. Mantle fluids are identified to be the system-forming factors. The hierarchic line of subsystems was defined within the system of the ore belt elements. The subsystem of the crystal-chemical parameters of the rock-forming ore and skarn minerals in different ore-bearing zones was chosen for the system analysis implementation. The analysis findings were used to make a large-scale prediction of ineralization. The emphasis is placed on the overlapping variability indications which are identical for the genetically close series of hydrothermal gold-sulphide-quartz and gold-skarn ore subformations in the large (more than 500 km in extent) goldbearing hydrothermal-ore-magmatic system of the Kuznetsk Alatau formed with the involvement of the mantle fluids.
Key words: Aldan Shield, Leglier-Timpton ore belt, ore-bearing zone, homology, analogy, homologous series, the system of given objects, object-system, subsystem, non-linear metallogeny, mantle fluids.
