In 2008 drilling of 279 parametric well confirmed prospects of the Chaikinskoye uplift located in the area of superorder structures junction, namely the Nepa-Botuoba anticlise and Predpatom regional trough. A technology for spectral microseism analysis (SAM) was tested along a number of seismic lines in order to get additional information on the area’s geodynamical regime. The gathered data show the same picture of geodynamical noises along all the lines: by and large a higher level, presence of local anomalous areas in which one may forecast HC occurrences, anomaly relations to reflecting boundary stability of the upper promising horizon of the section and its block structure. The authors advise further geological study trends. In particular, it is offered to drill one more appraisal well at the intersection of 2 and 4 lines where noise anomalies match with “Panlis” method forecast.

Key words: forecasting of hydrocarbon pools, geodynamical noise, microseisms, nonanticlinal traps.
