UDC (550.84.012:004.9):553.411 METHODICAL AND ENGINEERING SOLUTIONS OF GEOLOGICAL AND GEOCHEMICAL GIS FOR INTEGRATED SCIENTIFIC STUDIES OF GOLD-ORE OBJECTS

The article analyzes up-to-date requirements for geological and geochemical GIS. A classic data processing by means of user GIS packages is considered, its shortcomings as applied to the solution of geochemical problems are discussed. Principles of server-based geoinformation approach to integrated geological studies are given. The technical solution of the Kodar GIS is described.
