STATE OF THE MINERAL RESOURCE BASE AND PROSPECTS FOR INCREASING PRODUCTION VOLUMES UNDER THE ESPO PROGRAMME

The construction of ESPO pipeline system and the approval of the Programme of Geological Study and the Assignment for Use of Hydrocarbon Fields in East Siberia and the Sakha Republic in 2005 launched the active development of the East-Siberian subsoil. The paper discusses the current state of the hydrocarbon resource base, geological exploration and licensing of the territory of interest, as well as prospects and trends of further increment of mineral resource base.
