The complex extraction of useful components from ore mineral raw materials has recently become more and more relevant. For the first time the large-scale Far East Tokurskoye gold field was additionally studied for platinum mineralization using chemical and atomic absorption analysis methods. As a result, a full characteristic of the field was obtained for the whole group of precious metals (Ru, Rh, Pd, Ag, Os, Ir, Pt, Au). It is shown that platinum mineralization does not reach industrial values, but it is only concomitant at concentrations in ores less than 1 g / t. It has been established that the electric smelting of sulphide ores increases the extraction of platinum metals into matte by ≈100,000 times, which makes this method of concentration very promising in the presence of cheap electricity.
