ANALYSIS OF THE ECONOMIC IMPACT OF THE «POWER OF SIBERIA» PROJECT ON THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE EASTERN REGIONS OF RUSSIA

This article is devoted to the role of the construction of the Power of Siberia gas pipeline in the economic development of the regions of Eastern Siberia and the Far East. The pipeline in question will connect the two production centers of Irkutsk and Yakutsk, which will ultimately contribute to the development of not only the gas industry in the country but will also make the economy of these regions more efficient. This project is a prospect that will also provide a large number of jobs. Thus, the gas pipeline opens up huge prospects for the development of the eastern regions of the country.
