DEEP SEISMOGEOLOGICAL CRITERIA FOR REGIONAL FORECASTING OF OIL AND GAS PROSPECTIVE ZONES OF THE YENISEI-KHATANGA REGIONAL TROUGH

The article considers crustal and upper mantle inhomogeneities. The formation of large oil and gas basins of the world is associated with the peculiarities of deep structure and geodynamic processes of the Earth’s crust formation, as well as with the processes of its degassing. The construction of a macro model of the Earth’s crust and upper mantle using SG-OGT materials is possible using the means of the ReapakRK+ system, which is based on seismic inversion, clustering of the received impulse characteristics and alculation of Reapak attributes. The analysis of these data makes it possible to formalize some identification signs of a reasonable transition from seismic fields to structural and qualitative characteristics of individual elements of the Earth’s crust macro model. Disturbances of the “reflexivity” zone and discontinuities in tracing the Moho discontinuity can be considered as the presence of channels for mantle solutions and heat flows to the upper parts of the Earth’s crust. Such a structure of the upper and lower parts of the Earth’s crust is an additional basis for a positive assessment of the prospects for oil and gas potential of the Yenisei-Khatanga regional trough.

Keywords: seismic data, Yenisei-Khatanga regional trough, Reapak technology, degassing of the Earth, Earth’s crust, Moho discontinuity, oil and gas potential.
