BIOSTRATIGRAPHY AND FORAMINIFERA OF THE BEREZOVIAN REGIONAL SUPERSUBSTAGE (CONIACIAN – LOWER CAMPANIAN) OF WEST SIBERIA

Within the West Siberian province, the Sedelnikovian (lower) and Slavgorodian (upper) Regional Substages similar in lithology are subordinated to the Berezovian Regional Supersubstage along the section of the Upper Cretaceous. The Sedelnikovian Regional Substage is dated to the Coniacian age according to rare foraminifera, taking into account finds of characteristic mollusks; the Slavgorodian one is dated to the Santonian-Early Campanian due to characteristic species of foraminifera, the layers with them are divided into zonal units.
