UPPER JURASSIC FORAMINIFERA IN THE SOUTHERN WEST SIBERIA (SILGA FACIES REGION)

The paper deals with the presented results of the foraminifera study from Upper Jurassic sections of the Silga facies region. An almost complete continuous sequence of biostratons isolated from the Middle Oxfordian – Early Volgian foraminifera of southern West Siberia was established. Based on the biofacial analysis, the conclusion was made that the given territory belongs to the zone of relative shallow water during the specified time period.
