ABOUT THE USE OF MAGNETIC COMPONENTS OF TECHNOGENIC FIELD OF ELECTRIC RAILWAYS FOR GEOLOGICAL MAPPING

The suitability of magnetic components of the technogenic electromagnetic field of the electric railway electric traction network for use in geological mapping is substantiated. It is proposed to extract signals with the same type in source structure (helpful signals) using previously developed methodological techniques from the set of the field registered data, and present them in the form of profile distributions of amplitude ratios of magnetic components of ordinary intermediate observation and basic observation points multiplied by the corresponding coefficients of measuring systems. The logical justification of the mathematical expression intended for calculating these distributions is given. The prospectivity is confirmed by practical example. The considered methodological techniques can be useful for researches in places adjacent to electric railways, where registration of electrical components of electromagnetic field is difficult for various reasons.
