Institute of Natural Resources, Ecology and Cryology SB RAS, Chita, Russia

The result of classification of an integrated geophysical survey data by the cluster analysis method using the example of materials on the Kultuminskoye ore field was described. The cluster analysis algorithm is based on the k-means method implemented in the SAGA software. The study shows the effectiveness of the developed model of geophysical anomalies classification in the geological interpretation of the exploration prospect. The most informative geophysical parameters for the isolation of skarns and skarnified varieties of rocks with magnetite and sulphide mineralization were determined. The position of geological boundaries of the Kultuminskoye ore field rocks and the development contour of skarns and skarnified varieties of rocks with magnetite and sulphide mineralization were clarified. The results of the study, conclusions and recommendations for the application of similar procedures for processing geophysical anomalies at other geological exploration prospects were presented.

Keywords: cluster analysis, classification, geophysical methods, geophysical anomalies, interpretation, skarn mineralization, sulphide mineralization.
