PETROLEUM POTENTIAL AND MATERIAL COMPOSITION OF PRE-JURASSIC DEPOSITS IN FIELDS OF THE VASYUGAN PETROLEUM REGION (TOMSK OBLAST)

The paper deals with considered fields in the Vasyugan petroleum region (within the Tomsk oblast) with oil and gas accumulations confined to the petroleum horizon of the contact zone. The characteristic of material composition of reservoir rocks including hydrocarbon deposits is given. Conclusions are drawn about the type of reservoir and rock composition most favorable for the formation of oil and gas fields in the Paleozoic play. Quantitative assessment of prospective and inferred resources of categories D0 and Dl is given.
