The paper deals with considered possibilities of genetic correlation of migrational naphthides, which may be present in Cambrian reef deposits of the Siberian Platform, and the organic matter of probable source rocks. Such rocks are referred by researchers to the Lower – Middle Cambrian Kuonamka Formation rocks, facial replacing reef formations. A possible additional source of naphthides may be Vendian oil-and-gas bearing deposits, which are associated with commercially productive hydrocarbons in the adjacent territory of the Nepa-Botuoba anteclise and, probably, the western plunge of the Vilyui syneclise. Based on the analysis of long-term studies of the Kuonamka type DOM rocks and Riphean-Vendian deposits, criteria for the genetic relationships of naphthides are proposed: features of the carbon isotopic composition of organic matter, content of vanadic porphyries, and ratios of various homologous series of hydrocarbon biomarkers. It is estimated as an important spatial relationship between reef deposits and probable oil source strata, which determines the migrational directions of HC fluids.
Keywords: naphthides, biomarkers, vanadyl porphyrines, isotopy of organic carbon, evolution of biocenoses.
