ANTHROPOGENIC PROCESSES AFFECTING GROUNDWATER QUALITY IN PROTECTED NATURAL AREAS OF UZBEKISTAN​

The article reports results of the study of negative impacts caused by human activities on protected natural areas which store strategic fresh groundwater resources of the Republic of Uzbekistan. The extent of anthropogenic influence on fresh groundwater resources has been estimated, with assessment of its risks and groundwater vulnerability to contamination.
