The study presents a wealth of data describing the structural geology, as well as lithological, geochemical, and paleontological characteristics of the productive horizon Yu2. Its detailed correlation was carried using results of geophysical well logging and waveform data analysis for the upper part of the Middle Jurassic interval retrieved from seismic time sections. Thickness maps both for the Yu2 horizon and enclosed sandstones are constructed. The porosity and permeability analysis enabled construction of a contour map of sandstone porosity in the productive Yu2 horizon extending in the Gydan and within the western part of the Yenisei-Khatanga oil and gas regions.
Keywords: Arctic regions of Western Siberia, Yu2 horizon, thickness map, porosity map, sand content.
