ALBIAN AND SENOMANIAN FORAMINIFERAL ASSEMBLAGES FROM A NEW SECTION OF THE NORTHERN PALEOBIOGEOGRAPHIC DISTRICT OF WESTERN SIBERIA

V. M. Podobina

National Research Tomsk State University, Tomsk, Russia

Three foraminiferal assemblages have been established in a new section of East Padinskaya area (Pokur superhorizon), in the northern paleobiogeographic district of Western Siberia. Of them, two are already known from the Khanty-Mansiysk Horizon as Gadryinopsis tailleuri (lower Albian), and Ammobaculites fragmentarius, Gaudryinopsis filiformis (middle Albian) foraminiferal zones; the third one, the Gaudryinopsis elongates foraminiferal assemblage first recognized in the middle portion of the Uvat Horizonis dated tentatively as middle Cenomanian. Agglutinated quartz-siliceous foraminifera have been identified (with exact indication of index species) in the Albian and Cenomanian foraminiferal assemblages. The novel foraminiferal taxa have been described.
